We are still waiting for a date for Well of Grace, but I'll be sure to post it here when i hear something from Bethany.
Bethany has been doing a little better with food. eating a little more :). She is trying really hard to get her intake up before going to treatment. because as we know from before going from 0 to 3 meals a day HURTS if you don't do it slowly. So she is gradually taking up her intake before she goes :). I'm proud of her because i know its hard. It's a struggle and I'm not saying it's anyway easy, but she is fighting anyway.
Right now she is looking at maybe taking some online classes while she is at WOG because she will lose her insurance if she doesn't. Please be praying that things work out with classes.
oh and big news! She got rid of the scale at home! that was a huge step and she is doing better not having one :)
The biggest prayer request right now is just for continued strength for Bethany as she waits to go to WOG and works on getting her intake up.

Uphill battle
Well this week has been up and down.
Bethany isn't doing so great but she is doing better than she has been. Had a good session with her therapist Monday night. Talked about what she can do now to get herself ready to go back to residental treatment. One of the things was working on eating a little more and drinking her ensures. She is struggling with both of those. But I'm happy she is trying.
Last week's assignment from Jennie (therapist) was to make her family dinner every night for a week and not to step on the scale but every few days if she could. she did well! Made dinner 5 out of 7 nights, and only weighed herself 2 times a day (compared to 10).
Been doing better with her meds too. they do help her moods if she takes them everyday. been doing better with that the past few weeks. i think that is helping.
Right now we are waiting for the book from Well of Grace to get here so that we can start the assignment. once that is done they will give us an enterance date. So Bethany wants to get that done soon.
I think that is all for right now. Off to bed!

Well Of Grace
Bethany got the call Thursday that she has been accepted into the program at Well of Grace in MI.
This is great news! Thank God. Her doctor has been wanting her back in IOP or IP. So this is great news.
She and I don't leave till Jan. We on on the waiting list. The first ever for WoG, they have never had a waiting list before now. So we leave in Jan. I'm excited for her. I know she is a little excited, happy, ready, and scared. Its going to be a long time away from home and a lot of work. She will be gone 6 months. She has never been away from home that long. So its going to be tough.
But this is such great news and I just had to share it with you all!

Well Bethany and I have been home almost 5 months now.
She was doing really well for a while. But she isn't doing so great now.
she doesn't know that i'm gonna try and start blogging again.
She and I started a cool thing called the Recovery Buddies Project. It is going well! we have a waiting list 20 people long, but she is knitting away.
Bethany is in the application process for Mercy Ministries. That is going well, we have everything done, just not mailed in. Be praying for that?
I better get off here before Bethany chatches me :P

Oh sunny days...
We have arrived safe and sound. the airplane was fun. Not as bad as Bethany and I thought it would be.
the drive from the airport to Rader was an hour and a half. but the drive was beautiful! I loved looking out the window to the ocean and mountains.
Bethany is upset because she can't have any Mt. Dew. But not only that... she can't have her Knitting. of all things. Her KNITTING. she is going to go insane without it. But I'm here to give her hugs when she needs them tho. I know she wants her knitting bad. she told me she is going to pitch a fit till someone gives it back.
I'm tired from the trip. Bethany slept on the plane, but I was to excited to sleep. I love that the first flight I got to watch out the window.
I'm gonna go back to napping with Bethany and Skishy now.
